"From the first moment I stepped through the doors to the Salus Center, I felt welcomed. Salus is a home for many, a family to those without, and more importantly, a safe and affirming queer space for the greater Lansing area. Seeing the work that has been done by the Salus staff and volunteers fills me with joy and hope for the future."

"The Salus Center has supported me in multiple tangible and significant ways. They hosted Asylum Center (previously Asylum Press + Apothecary) at an LGTBQ pop-up market last year... connected my business with a pro-bono web developer (s/o to Stephanie Nagy). A few of the directors have even simply (and profoundly) purchased my products, believed in me, and continued to pour in support for me as I slowly build-up a small business. Lastly, the Salus Center and folks surrounding them exemplify building community horizontally, or rather, building together."
